Welcome to Active Physics with Mr.Louie and Mr.Smith. It's a brand new school year, and there's a lot to be excited about - Physics included. Physics is the most fundamental of the sciences, and it's very applicable to our everyday lives, from the cars (or buses) we ride to school in the morning to the pens and pencils we use in class. Everything in the world follows the laws of physics. These are the rules that govern the universe, the rules to the game of Life. And as with other games, you will become much more successful in life once you know the rules.

If you're ever curious about how something works or unsure of anything you read about, feel free to E-MAIL ME or write it down so you can ask me about it in class. You can always return to this page if you need to look at the class syllabus or handouts I've developed for this class.

NOTE: Due to the varying class composition, dates for each of the topics may vary up to a day or two before or after the stated date. This is especially true with students in 7th period.
